days 15-21

Here we go again...maybe by the end of this project I will have mastered being on time with these. Here's days 15-21, Jan 21-27.

This is the price of gas on this past Wed:

On Thursday, me and Danielle met up for lunch on our breaks...

On Friday, I had to head out early...the sky was beautiful.

Saturday evening...was spent with the cats and the couch...

I was checking my stuff online Sunday night before I went to sleep and snapped the day's photo real quick...almost forgot.

Monday night, I came home to find that my surprise album for my parents had arrived. I am well-pleased with it, especially since its the first one I've ever printed. (They loved it btw).

Tuesday (today), I had a long day with all this rain and ice and delays...so I snapped a quick photo of the pictures I ordered laying on my bed...again, these are part of the surprise for my parents. Back on Jan 2nd, Misty (photography by Misty Smith) came home to visit family, and I booked a shoot with her for then. I had been planning this surprise for my parents, and couldn't wait for Misty to do the photos. They turned out awesome...now to order enlargements:)

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the "snow" we were supposed to get. All I saw was rain...

Days 12,13,14

So, as usual I'm lating posting these...but on the positive side, I am not as late as last time! This post includes Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (today)...

Sunday night, me and Babez cooked a most wonderful supper...fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans...doesn't get any more southern than that!

Monday night I layed around and watched tv with my Babez...

Today was the 44th presidential inauguration...and a snow day:) Yes, I drove all the way to Lynchburg (instead of checking online 1st) only to find out ODU was closed! CVCC was still on schedule, but ODU in Norfolk was closed, so I didn't have classes. Oh well...I caught up on some work, so that's a plus.
I took this on Babez's porch...I had a good one of the cat, but I thought this one was more appropriate for today.

Until next time..."live for today."

Days 4-11

So, I know I've been MIA for a while...but I got really sick for a week...and then I just didn't care too much for sitting in front of the computer. So, I'm back with my postings...I may not get them posted on time, but they'll get posted:)
I was sick this day, so nothing too interesting, this hangs at my desk:

I had to work Sunday, even though I was still sick, here I'm getting ready to turn in my driveway:

Here, Monday, I was basically in the same spot, lol, but the sky was beautiful. FYI, there is no editing in this photo. The color is what I took:

This is Tuesday, on my way home from school:

Wednesday, my dog:

Thursday, on my way home from school, it was soo cold and windy:

What better than a Friday night with friends at TGI Friday's!! This is me and my Babez--cheezin:)
So, today my Dad replaced my plug wires: only the #1 mechanic is allowed to touch my car;)
Now I am up to date...for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the weekend!

p365 begins: Day 1

So, I said a while back that I planned on taking on the challenge of p365. A friend of mine, and fellow photograper, did it last year and it was so awesome to get online everyday and see what her photo of the day was! Not to mention, a lot can happen in a year! So, I had planned to start on Jan. 1st, which I took pictures on the 1st and the 2nd and then I forgot about it until today. Needless to say, I now have post-it notes up to remind me until I get into the habit. Today I begin this challenge with a window photo...a glare of me taking a photo. I was looking outside at the rain and this is what happened next:

For like 2 minutes, the sun popped out and I managed to grab these 2 photos...it has been raining for 2 days, and now the wind is blowing really bad, but the sun peaked out for me to take its picture:)

The sun is shining on top of the trees behind my house in this one...I couldn't get much closer because the ground was so wet...

We'll see what this year has in store for me! I hope you will keep up with my project!

Until next time..."live for today."

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope that everyone is off to a wonderful 2009! I know I am, and I can't wait to see what this year holds for me:) Look for photos later.

**EDIT**
Here are the photos...

My New Year's Eve was spent going out to eat with a few friends, playing guitar hero until 4 AM, and having my first real, true New Year's kiss!
2009 is going to be a great year! I know of so much it holds already!

Until next time, "live for today."
