The Clay Family

Saturday evening, I took photos of my cousin's family...we went out to a cabin in Sycamore to take the photos. It was kinda breezy, but the photos still turned out good:)

Gone but not Forgotten

Monday I was at work when I got a call that a recent client of mine passed away in her sleep Sunday night. I was totally shocked because as far as anyone knew she was in good health. She had attended church Sunday and everyone saw her doing just fine. Her husband awoke Monday to find her at peace...

May God bless this family during this hard time. I didn't know her very well, but I do know that when she entered a room, her smile lit the whole place up. She was a very sweet lady...who loved her husband very much, I could tell.

I recently did a photo fundraiser for CPHC, where I took her and her husband's picture. I think she said it was the first photo they had had made together since the 1970's.

Rest in peace, Betty Cobbs.

Danielle & Jason

Wednesday, I took my best friend's engagement photos...we had been trying to work out a shoot for weeks, but finally managed to schedule one. Jason and Danielle are definitely meant for each other...I love them both to death! We hope to shoot more in the spring before the wedding in May, in which I am a bridesmaid and I can't wait! Its going to be so beautiful...and I get to watch two of my favoritest people get hitched, and live happily ever after...

Here are a few of my favorites:

Daniel~'09 Senior

So, the other senior I did Sunday was my cousin, Daniel. Even though he isn't the biggest fan of taking pictures, we managed to get a few good ones. Brian even came over and gave us a few laughs! [See last photo]

Tyler~Senior '09

This past Sunday, I did a double senior shoot. The first one was Tyler. I traveled to his home to take his senior photos with his truck. Here are a few of my favorites:

Look for this...

I have decided that I am going to take on the challenge of p365. With this project, I will take a "photo of the day" everyday for a year. I don't know exactly when I am going to start...I will probably wait until I finish this semester...and I may even wait to start on January 1st...
So, just look for that to come in the near future:)

Halloween!

So, I've never been one to do much for Halloween. I mostly am just a fan of the candy. But seeing how my boyfriend has 7 nieces and nephews, we thought that we should make things a little interesting. I layed on the sidewalk "dead" when the kids came. They were all like "whoa...what happened? Isn't that Megan? Is she dead?" Uknowingly to them, my boyfriend was hiding (actually lying down) behind the bushes right behind them! So, after I sat up and screamed to scare them, they all start to go on the porch when he jumps out and scares them. Did I mention he had a real machete? Needless to say, we scared their socks off...I have it videoed:) Here are a few pictures...view more on my website.

Before we scared the kids, we went by Food Lion (work) to see what everyone was doing there. We ran into Derek, Travis, and Holly....

Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!

;)
