New Puppies!

I had this post in my drafts that I had never posted....these are the new puppies...it was bittersweet that they had to find new homes:(

Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary to my parents!

Meet my parents: On Tuesday, June 15, 2010, they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary! On Wednesday, myself, sister, and my neighbors threw them a surprise party! Well, Daddy was kinda in on it, seeing how it is NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to surprise my Mom. But we did it! She didn't get suspicious until right before she showed up at the Fisk house for "icecream and social time" with her ladies group from church. And then, TADA! We surprised her with great food, friends, and family...then we all got to enjoy the icecream she brought! It was a great evening, and I thank everyone who helped!


SURPRISE!! Yep, Daddy had a party hat! HAHA!


The cake I made them...we had a red, white, and blue theme for everything:)

I ordered them a banner...and check out the lovely decor, thanks to Mrs. Fisk:)

Congrats again to Barry and Jo Ann! On their 50th Anniversary, my fiance and I will be celebrating our 25th!

Is this considered gardening?

I have always loved flowers...planting them...and watching them grow:) I recently pulled up the bushes in front of my house and porch...which made lots of room for me to plant prettier things:)

Daylilies...which I hope to enjoy year after year...and some annuals like petunias...and some other interesting things with non-memorable names:)

Now to just get the base of my porch painted and some mulch:)

Did I mention that the pups were around...and not helping? Once I started emptying pots...this happened:

I hope to find more flowers that I like this weekend at Lowe's:) So, is this considered gardening? Got my tan on while I was out there too!

My sweet babies...

Last week we had some sick puppies...but now, they seem to be doing well:) They are so cute...and the sweetest babies to be around. Yesterday evening, we were sitting out on the porch during the storm with them. They were all laying together, I wish I could have gotten a photo of that, but it was getting dark so I knew it wouldn't turn out like I wanted it to. Tuesday though, I took these of them on the porch...waiting on Louis to get off of work:) They're 6 months old...

I am so glad that they're doing well. Their mother had a new litter of puppies today! Unfortunately, she had them under my tool shed so we can't even see them...or count them. Hopefully I can get pics of them soon!

I'm Engaged!

So...on March 26, 2010, he asked me to marry him...and I said YES! Now I have my own wedding to plan! I don't know where to start...but I have wonderful friends and family to help me! The most important thing though has already been taken care of: the photographer has been booked!

Yep, that's right, I can't believe it either!

CHS Pageant 2010

So...Saturday night was the annual CHS Pageant. I was there pulling for my good friend, Laura. She was crowned Queen! Here are a few of my favorite shots:
