Days 4-11

So, I know I've been MIA for a while...but I got really sick for a week...and then I just didn't care too much for sitting in front of the computer. So, I'm back with my postings...I may not get them posted on time, but they'll get posted:)
I was sick this day, so nothing too interesting, this hangs at my desk:

I had to work Sunday, even though I was still sick, here I'm getting ready to turn in my driveway:

Here, Monday, I was basically in the same spot, lol, but the sky was beautiful. FYI, there is no editing in this photo. The color is what I took:

This is Tuesday, on my way home from school:

Wednesday, my dog:

Thursday, on my way home from school, it was soo cold and windy:

What better than a Friday night with friends at TGI Friday's!! This is me and my Babez--cheezin:)
So, today my Dad replaced my plug wires: only the #1 mechanic is allowed to touch my car;)
Now I am up to date...for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the weekend!

p365 begins: Day 1

So, I said a while back that I planned on taking on the challenge of p365. A friend of mine, and fellow photograper, did it last year and it was so awesome to get online everyday and see what her photo of the day was! Not to mention, a lot can happen in a year! So, I had planned to start on Jan. 1st, which I took pictures on the 1st and the 2nd and then I forgot about it until today. Needless to say, I now have post-it notes up to remind me until I get into the habit. Today I begin this challenge with a window photo...a glare of me taking a photo. I was looking outside at the rain and this is what happened next:

For like 2 minutes, the sun popped out and I managed to grab these 2 photos...it has been raining for 2 days, and now the wind is blowing really bad, but the sun peaked out for me to take its picture:)

The sun is shining on top of the trees behind my house in this one...I couldn't get much closer because the ground was so wet...

We'll see what this year has in store for me! I hope you will keep up with my project!

Until next time..."live for today."

**EDIT**
Here are the photos...

My New Year's Eve was spent going out to eat with a few friends, playing guitar hero until 4 AM, and having my first real, true New Year's kiss!
2009 is going to be a great year! I know of so much it holds already!

Until next time, "live for today."

Cook~Farmer Wedding

Saturday, December 27, 2008...I photographed Marilyn and Junior's wedding. Marilyn is my boyfriend's mother...and I love her to death. Here are a few photos from the wedding...I didn't have time to get too creative because I had other roles in the wedding other than just the photographer! Enjoy:

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Cook! I am so blessed to have been part of your day! I love you both, and I know that God will bless your marriage! {You must come visit me though!}

Until next time, "live for today."

More Christmas...

Christmas night, we were at my Grandma's. My Dad's side of the family always gets together Christmas night. It was fun...we all missed Jarret though. He's my cousin, and in the Air Force deployed in Afghanistan. We're hoping he's coming back to the States in January. Tori (his fiance) was there in his place though! I love her....well here are some pics from there.
Tori, Casie, and I had some fun with the camera...keep in mind that a few of these are inside jokes, so you might not get the meaning behind them, LOL.
I try to take a family pic of us every Christmas...and since it was so warm this year, we took it outside next to my Dad's shop. Babez took it for me...and this was the best one we got...lol.
Well I hope that everyone's Christmas went well!! I know mine did...and I absolutely love my new video camera! Now its on to saving for my next project:)
